TRANSPORTATION

The organizing committee of SAAP 2010 intends to organize a shuttle between the international Tunis-Carthage airport and the hotel on October 6th and on October 10th, 2010. But you can easily get to Yasmine Hammamet by local Tunisian transport. Indeed, the best way to travel between the hotel and International Tunis Carthage airport is by using yellow taxi to go to the downtown of Tunis and then take the bus or the train to go to Hammamet city. When arrived to Hammamet city take a yellow taxi to go to the Mehari-Hammamet Hotel, all the travel will cost around 25 Tunisian Dinars (~14 Euros). Please do not take yellow taxis to travel directly from the airport to the conference hotel in Hammamet they are too expensive and they are not allowed for long distance travel. In the city, cabs are very convenient and cheap. Always verify that the meter is on! For long distances, you may use trains or buses available from downtown Tunis.
